Delivery Policy
At Bookstore.mu, we strive to ensure your shopping experience is as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Our delivery policy helps you understand our shipping process, timeframes, and terms. Orders are typically delivered within 2 to 5 business days. For orders above Rs 3,000, we offer free standard delivery within Mauritius. Please note that delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, holidays, or high demand. We deliver only to physical addresses within Mauritius (we do not deliver to P.O. Boxes). Our delivery team may not be able to access certain areas. If your address is in a restricted zone, we will notify you and arrange for an alternative delivery method if possible.
Also, we wish to inform in case an item is showing stock availability, but if it is out-of-stock during the order received, our salesmen will notify you immediately.
Refund Policy

1. Refund Eligibility
We accept and issue refunds under the following conditions:
Items are accepted only that are damaged or defective upon delivery. All returns must be made instore within 7 days of the delivery date.
2. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 3-5 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during the purchase. If a return is approved but we are unable to process a refund to your original payment method, we may offer an in-store credit or voucher.
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are not eligible for a refund or return:
Books that have been opened or used.
- Stationery products that have been opened or used.
- Gift cards, digital products, or downloadable items.
- Clearance, discounted, or promotional items.

If the return is approved, you will need to return the product(s) to us. Return costs are generally the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., damaged or incorrect items).
